Cognitive Sovereignty Checklist for Manufacturing and Industry

When Siemens AI or IBM Maximo AI recommends a maintenance action, your technicians must be able to question it and understand the reasoning. When Microsoft Azure IoT or Palantir optimises your supply chain, you need staff who can recognise when the model has seen only normal conditions and will break under stress. Without this judgement, your manufacturing operation becomes fragile even when the AI performs well.

Tool names in this checklist are examples. If you use different software, the same principle applies. Check what is relevant to your workflow, mark what is not applicable, and ignore the rest.

Preserve Engineering Judgement in Predictive Maintenance

Document why your maintenance team accepted or rejected each AI recommendationbeginner
